For other insurances, we are considered an out of network provider. However, your insurance may still cover pediatric occupational therapy or pediatric physical therapy treatments at Little Feet Therapy.

Out Of Network Details
We are not in network with commercial medical insurance at our DC office due to restrictions and regulations set by the insurance companies.
Being out of network allows you to better access the care you need for your child without all of the red tape of referrals, visit limits, authorizations, and restricted diagnosis and treatment codes.
We encourage you to explore your out of network insurance benefits as many plans have out of network coverage that most people are not aware of.
After every visit, we provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We are happy to provide any visit notes or documentation that they request for you to obtain reimbursement.
Insurance Billing Details
We verify insurance prior to your evaluation/first visit and let you know what is covered so you know what to expect each visit.
We bill insurance and wait for the claims to process before sending families an invoice. This is to prevent any overpayment on your part and to make sure insurance covers their fair share.
Insurance processing time is typically 30 days, but can take up to 90 days. Once claims are processed, you will receive an invoice via email.
Our invoices are sent out monthly around the 15th of each month and are typically for all visits the month prior. This includes copays, deductibles, and coinsurances.
