Eden Austin, DPT

Physical Therapist - Washington, DC

Eden is local to the DMV, having been born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Laurel, MD. Eden graduated with her B.S. In kinesiology from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2017. Eden decided early in her high school career that she wanted to become a Physical Therapist, which is what she went on to do. Eden graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2021 from Howard University.

Eden has had experience in different fields, such as, home health, pediatric, travel, outpatient therapy, as well as school related services. But Eden’s heart was always with pediatrics, as she maintained a part time or PRN job with schools and/or pediatric home health agencies throughout her years as a physical therapist.

Eden works with children with developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, idiopathic toe walking, neurological disorders and other genetic and neuromuscular conditions. Eden likes to create a safe and fun environment for children and their families to learn and grow together in order to reach their designated goals.

In her free time, Eden likes to go on long walks with her dog, go to the gym, entertain her large host of nieces and nephews, travel, learn new recipes, and try new foods.
